Reproductive Reflexology and Reflexology for Fertility
Having a child of your own is one of the most enriching experiences that a couple can have. However, an increasing number of women are finding it difficult to conceive with as many as one in three couples experiencing fertility problems. Of these, one in six will seek medical help with conception.
Getting help to get pregnant can be both stressful and expensive with private medicine only available to those who can afford it. Complementary therapy can provide help and support for only a fraction of the price, and works in a number of ways to enhance fertility.
On a physical level they can tackle medical conditions that may be present. They are also excellent at reducing levels of stress. Psychologically they may also help address the complex mental and emotional facts that may be affecting your fertility.
Reproductive Reflexology
Reproductive reflexology can be used as a stand-alone treatment to enhance your natural fertility or with conventional treatments, such as Clomid, with fully medicated cycles of IUI, IVF, ICSI as well as with donor eggs. Members of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists are specially trained to work alongside medicated cycles using treatment protocol that we believe works to enhance the medications efficacy.
I can offer a course of treatments for pre-conceptual care, infertility, assisted conception and pregnancy using complementary medicine. I can work with both men and women at any stage in their fertility planning, whether they are enhancing their general health before trying for a baby, experiencing problems with conception or require help and guidance during pregnancy.
If you are undergoing fertility treatment with conventional medical practitioners, I can work in ways to enhance their therapies and boost the chances of success using your body’s own mechanisms.
If you are investing in a fertility programme, or trying to enhance your natural fertility, then these reflexology treatments are a means of improving your reproductive health.
A course of treatment includes:
- An initial consultation during which a detailed medical history will be taken, including information on any mainstream fertility treatment being undertaken, together with details of your diet and life-style
- Based on this initial consultation clients are offered a course of treatment which could include reflexology for fertility, advice on dietary changes and supplements, and other lifestyle issues
- The initial course of treatment recommended is 13 weeks
- The initial consultation costs £90 per couple, or £50 for one person
- Individual treatment plans are then put together for clients on an individual basis - £45 per treatment. Discounts available if a course of treatment is purchased
- Each client is treated as an individual
These treatment programmes are also of benefit to any woman experiencing common menstrual problems, as well as conditions such as Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Fibroids. Menopausal symptoms may also benefit from these treatments.
Client review
'I was totally amazed by the positive effect that Reproductive Reflexology had on me. My periods had become heavy, and painful due to stress. and were becoming a real drain on me each month. After only 4 treatments the pain reduced so much I no longer needed pain killers, and the period became much, much lighter. I stopped feeling so tired, and PMS was unnoticeable. I would highly recommend these treatments to anyone suffering from a disruptive menstrual cycle. They have rebalanced my body superbly.'
